Alkaline Food List
The alkaline diet( also known as the alkaline ash diet, alkaline acid diet, acid ash diet, and acid alkaline diet) describes a group of approximately related diets grounded on the misconception that different types of food can have an effect on the pH balance of the body.
It began with the acid ash thesis, which primarily related to osteoporosis exploration. Proponents of the diet believe that certain foods can affect the acidity( pH) of the body and that the change in pH can thus be used to treat or help complaints.
Still, their claims are false, and there’s no substantiation supporting the claimed mechanisms of this diet, which isn’t recommended by dietitians or other health professionals. There are some hypotheses that say that We can reduce the chance of fatal diseases like cancer by consuming only Alkaline Foods.
On the pH scale, there are some food that has a value between 1 to 7 are called acidic food, while food with pH scores between 7.1 to 14 is called Alkaline or Basic food. Removing acidic food and eating only an Alkaline Diet can reduce the acid levels in the body. However, there is not enough scientific evidence to back these claims.
